I am very blessed to work with some fab kids who have ADHD and/or Autism twice a month, and with their parents to offer respite on alternate weeks. I am learning fast about what engages the kids and how to interact with them, to bring out the best in them and offer them a safe space to be themselves and chill out. I love it!
As well as the continued forest school sessions at Ty Mawr Country Park (where we offered a range of spooky and seasonal activities at the start of November), I traveled to Japan with Simon for a tree carving event, and was then able to make Japanese lanterns and eat Japanese food and snacks with the adult forest group when I came back.
It’s been a truly wonderful time. Roll on 2017!
